Sage Marine will have a Sage 15 and Sage 17 at the Annapolis Sailboat Show 8-12 October 2015. If you would like to see the boats send Dave an email, firstname.lastname@example.org, to request a complimentary entrance ticket.

The prototype Sage 15 deck is complete … meaning that all large components (hull, cabin liner & deck) for the first boat are now ready for sub-component assembly: bulkheads & flotation foam into hull; liner into hull; teak accents onto liner; and deck hardware onto deck. The Sage 15 tooling has arrived in Golden, Colorado!

Sage 17 AIR BORN is now on Lake Dillon, Colorado, and available for demonstration sails. Please contact Dave, at email@example.com, if you would like to sail on a Sage 17.
The Sage 15 hull liner mold (ie, fixtures for cabin accommodations) is pictured below and was completed the last week of July 2015. The first, prototype, Sage 15 will begin assembly the last week of August 2015 in preparation for the October 2015 Annapolis Sailboat Show.
30 July 2015:
Sage 17s won first & second places in the medium boat class during the 16th Annual Cruiser Challenge on Monterey Bay, CA, 25 July 2015.
On Sundy 26 July Sage 17s won 1st & 2nd places during the 3rd Annual Dory Taylor Cup on Monterey Bay.
Sage Marine will be at the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show December 3-6 2015.
23 June 2015:
Sage 17 AIR BORN is now on Lake Dillon, Colorado, and available for demonstration sails. AIR BORN will be on Dillon until 10 July '15 when she goes back on her trailer to attend boats shows and regattas on the west coast.
AIR BORN will be at at Pocket Yacht Palooza at Port Townsend, WA, 18 July 2015, and available for test sailing 19 July 2015. Following Pocket Yacht Palooza AIR BORN heads south, along I-5, to take part in the Cruiser Challenge at Monterey Bay, CA, 24-26 July 2015.

Sage 17 AIR BORN followed the Race to Alaska fleet during the first leg from Port Townsend, WA, to Victoria, Canada, crossing the Strait of Juan de Fuca on 4 June 2015. The distance traveled was 36.8nm with a average speed of 4.6 knots. Here are three short videos of the crossing -
The winds at the start and 2/3rd of the crossing were reported to be blowing as high as 22 knots. The wind seas were two feet, the swell was about two to three feet and waves in the tide rips four to five feet.
